Light Leaks: A creative project pursued from 2010 to 2011, rediscovered in 2022.
Color Theory. When I was digging through my old computer for content I already made, let me tell you — I was just as surprised as you are to have found the next set of images.
I vaguely remembered sorting through Flickr images and playing around on Photoshop to create what I knew as “Light Leaks.” I began to more strongly remember being passionate about the melted colors and fiending to edit them over photos of my friends and the scenery in the Florida Keys.
This passion project takes me back over 10 years. Official date attribution for all of these files available here. This page is a preview of the first 10 Light Leaks. There are 71 images in this series.
I do not claim authorship over all of these images. Surely, at least a few of them belong to an uncle on Flickr in Portugal. If you are the skilled graphic designer behind any of these, please let me know, so I may properly attribute your image.

This is the first one. Really, it’s supposed to be vertical, with the red in the upper right corner, but this is a website, so optimized-for-web and horizontal it is.
